Bonkyrs Dumpster

| Description: | This 1:6 scale model was made to be used on the cover of our very first zine, "The World is Bonkyrs." The dumpster itself is made out of MDF cut on the laser, with some 3D printed dumpster parts slapped on. To make the trashbags, we cut off small pieces of a real trash bag, soldered the edges back together and filled them with cat litter. The goblin head was sculpted in blender, 3D printed and passed of to a knitting friend, who made the excellent little hat with some some super tiny needles. The laser cutter was used to cut the patterns for the brick wall and concrete floor which we followed up with some hand weathering using aluminum foil and a hobby knife. The weathering is done with a combination of acrylic washes and oil paints mixed with mineral spirits. |
