The Gobbo Lab
Computer Wizard

Uh... What?

The Gobbo Lab is a Kansas City based workshop dedicated to building all manner of handmade crafts and oddities. We got our start painting miniatures for Warhammer and D&D, before slowly moving into more complex model making and dioramas. At some point we added a full woodshop and an industrial laser cutter to our arsenal, allowing us to build complex projects that combine 3D modeling/printing, woodworking, traditional scale modeling and freakin lasers. We started doing conventions in 2024, with our first appearance at Planet Comicon KC. In a world of mass produced plastic, we strive to bring a handmade quality and touch to everything we build.

Scroll down a smidge if you want a tour of the workshop. Scroll down a couple smidges if you want to meet some of the goblins that work here. Otherwise check out our portfolio of projects, our world building project Bonkyrs, or our online store (if its open).

James

James

James does a lot of the general fabrication work around here like CAD, 3D printing, woodworking, etc. as well as maintaining the website. He is also colorblind, which leads to some fun mistakes when painting. When he is not lurking around the shop, he enjoys a good winter camping trip, or putting around on his motorcycle. He does all things in service to his lords and masters GWAR.

Jeanna

Jeanna

Jeanna is the CPO (Chief Photography Officer) here at the Gobbo Lab. If you are looking at a photograph on this website, Jeanna probably took it. She once sniped a seagul at 100 yards with her Sony as it flew at 3000 miles per hour off the starboard bow of the Staten Island ferry. Were it a game of Pokemon Snap, Jeanna would have had the world record score. She also helps James with his colors because she has the ability to see them.

Peri

Peri

Peri does the real heavy lifting stuff, here. The real dirt under your fingernails stuff like "Thinking," or "Suggesting." They dabble in the dark art of "Winging It," at editing, storyboarding, character design, etc. When they're not bumming free drinks in the shop, they're working their day job of overdressing for any occasion. Please text me back, Peri, I'm desperate for your love. Please please please ple
